How to use SpellNumber Add-in in Excel to convert numbers into text

Hello Friends! Today we will learn an easy process to spell out numbers in text automatically in MS-Excel. The process can also be done using VB Script and Macros but it takes more time for the task and each time you have to enable Macros to do the same which is really very irritating.

So today I have decided to share with you an another trick to do the same by which you can easily coverts long numbers into text and save lots of time.

To do that, please download an Ms-Excel Add-in from the link below:

After downloading the file, just copy the file to the below location:

C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns

Just enter the location into Run command (Windows Key + R) to open the Run Command and replace User_Name with your own username to go the exact location.

After, copying the SpellNumber file to the said location. Now open MS-Excel and go to File=>Options and select Add-ins and under Manage Section Click on Go. Screenshot for you reference below:


And after that select SpellNumber and click on Ok to enable the same. Screenshot of the same below for your reference:


Now, you can use =spellnumber() function to convert any numbers or digits to word easily whether it's short word or long word. You can see the screenshot for your reference:
