How to use Text to Column Feature of MS Excel
Hello friends! Today we will learn how to use text to column feature of MS-Excel. This tool is very easy to use and saves lots of time to prepare your data or presentation in few seconds.
Below is an example of raw data that we will be using for text to column feature:
And after using text to column feature, the data will be available as per below screenshot:
To do this happen, first select the cell which you want to use, after that click on data tab and Text to Columns Icon. A pop window will appear in which you will get two options to select. Delimited and Fixed Width. In this case you have to select Fixed Width and click on next.
After that you have to click on each characters or words which you want to separate and click on next and click on finish button. An illustration for the task is shown below in the screenshot:
